Horses with Hope at Upper St. Clair Community Day

The stars aligned on Saturday, May 16, for the annual Upper St. Clair Community Day! This year’s theme, "Cosmic Community Day – Upper St. Clair is Out of This World!", brought the entire township together for a stellar celebration of local spirit. The day kicked off with a parade and included a Bake-Off, Hottest Dog Contest, Toddler Trot, and much more

Spotlight on Gilfillan Farm: Touring Our Backyard

The true culmination of the day for us was welcoming the community onto the beautiful, historic Gilfillan Farm. Horses with Hope expanded its programming here to help preserve Margaret Gilfillan’s vision of a working farm while providing life-changing equine-assisted therapy. During the Community Day farm tours, visitors got a firsthand look at how our operations blend history with healing.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, waved to us during the festivities, and visited the farm. Our community truly is out of this world!

First established in 1978, this annual tradition is a brilliant collaborative effort between the Upper St. Clair School District, the Township of Upper St. Clair, local businesses, and community groups. For Horses with Hope, it was the perfect way to connect with neighbors, share our mission, and showcase our beloved herd at our historic home base.
