Volunteer
More than just helping out.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Horses With Hope team. It's through your enthusiasm and dedication that together we make a difference in the lives of children and adults with varying abilities. Opportunities exist in and out of the stable and can include:
Fundraising and special events
Horse care
Assisting with Therapeutic Riding lessons and activities
Barn and pasture chores
Safety first.
In this training video, Executive Director Anne Davis reviews some of the safety measures employed by volunteer Horse Leaders and Side Walkers during a therapeutic riding class.
A rewarding experience for all!
Whether you are an enthusiast with horse experience or have no experience at all but would like to learn more, please join us!
Horses With Hope volunteers must be 14 years of age to participate in lessons, and 16 to be a horse leader.
